When making an appointment, the receptionist will strive to offer you the most appropriate appointment time available, or when it is needed or requested by the dentist or yourself.
Emergency appointments
Emergency appointments are available to everybody, whether or not you are a registered patient. We strive to see you within 24 hours.

Reminders and recalls
At the end of your course of treatment your dentist will discuss with you when you will need to see her again. Your dentist will advise you on how often you need to be seen to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We will book you a recall and contact you the day prior to your appointment to confirm.
Cancellations
We like to remind our patients that it is important to keep appointments. We fully understand that in some circumstances you will be unable to attend and we would appreciate 48 hours’ notice of such cancellation, as this slot could be offered to another patient. Illnesses and grievances are obviously unavoidable and the receptionist and dentist will understand to wait to hear from you when you are ready. Failed appointments fees starts from £50.
Complaints procedure
The Maypole Dental Surgery team will strive to provide quality dentistry appropriate to your needs in a pleasant and stress-free environment. Occasions do occur where there may be concerns or complaints about the way you are treated. In the first instance it may be possible to resolve the complaint verbally and we advise you speak to a member of our team (0161 627 2184) or the dentist, who will be happy to help.
